this Saturday people world going to see another sacrifice at the holy moment of Bakrid "Id-ul-Zuha". I am yet to hear any word against it. Unable to understand the difference between two sacrifices & the behavoiur of animal right activist towards these two tradition.
I am looking forward for your views on this issue.

Killing of animals is cruel - irrespective of the cause and caste
New things attracts & old things distract.
For the sake of tradition killing animals in any form should be prohibited. You have no rights to kill when you can not give life!
What is the difference killing animals at Pashupatinath temple or Bakrid, the amount of killing is far higher in Bakrid then the earlier. Why been political on the part of animal rights activists in expressing their voice towards innocent animals!!!

Anyway I don't support sacrificing animals for any purpose by any religion.
Killing of any animals or birds and even ants knowingly or unknowingly is cruel.
I believe in Live and Let Live.
Years ago people was uneducated thats why they started these kind of traditons but when educated people follow up them means they are not using their mind to understand the reason for that tradition and follow them blindly like animals.
I also believe that this should be stopped. But we should not forget that a change doesn’t come overnight. It takes times. If you remember, the animal sacrificing tradition was even there in Hinduism. (In fact it is still there in few parts of the countries). But slowly slowly we have replaced animals to "Coconut" & "Kaddu" etc.
So I m sure that this awareness will come in all the religion.
So Let us hope for the best and try our best to aware the people.
